  1. In his "prime" that usually happened about once every five years, but at his age now I doubt it will happen.
  2. I would find a good spot and stay there most of the day rather than trying to follow any particular group. The only tournament I've ever been to was the U.S. Open at Pinehurst in 99. The practice rounds were by far the highlight of the week, but as for the actual tournament, I'd rather watch on tv. But if sombody gave me tickets to this year's Open, I'd probably be more interested in seeing the golf course than any of the play.
  3. probably the difference between just playing a round to actually playing in a tournament. I remember one part where he was in a bar talking to an English player and cady, the player was something like +6 and was having a hard time getting into tournaments.
  4. Do you really think Tiger cares about the Ryder Cup?
  5. that's not Eamon Darcy is it?
  6. I think it was second at pebble
  7. get a swing extender. it's about $30 and good way to get rid of the Daly backswing.
  8. Have you tried an impact bag?
  9. I think that list is pretty far off. For one, I can't imagine any of the networks hoping Jim Furyk plays well to jack up the ratings.
  10. I think that's the point--someone can be far better than an average golfer and still be no where near tour level.
  11. that's about where I was at-- I think it was at the end of my second year before I broke 90. I remember reading somewhere that Ernie Els started playing golf at 13 and got to scratch at 14
  12. It's hard not to pull for a guy who gives up 30-40 yards to the rest of the field but can still beat them
  13. keeping right wrist straight at impact. overall, trying to be more productive at the range
