I would find a good spot and stay there most of the day rather than trying to follow any particular group. The only tournament I've ever been to was the U.S. Open at Pinehurst in 99. The practice rounds were by far the highlight of the week, but as for the actual tournament, I'd rather watch on tv. But if sombody gave me tickets to this year's Open, I'd probably be more interested in seeing the golf course than any of the play.

probably the difference between just playing a round to actually playing in a tournament. I remember one part where he was in a bar talking to an English player and cady, the player was something like +6 and was having a hard time getting into tournaments.
