  1. I used a couple Mizuno demos the other day and didn't feel this at all. I also have owned a set of Mizuno MP-32s for about 4 years and never had a problem with slickness, although I'll admit I have no idea what the grips were on them, aside from having Mizuno written on them. Have you used them a lot? Do you sweat a lot? Do you wear a glove?
  2. I would feel too much liek I had unfinished business if I walked away from a bucket... I do step away briefly to collect my thoughts, and other times simply switch to something else like punching wedges to shake whatever my brain is auto-correcting.. Nothing worse than over-thinking on the range though.. It's such a helpless feeling!
  3. looking at their website, I think they are only offering the e6 in colour, which is one of their easiest to compress balls.. It's a shame, because the e7 would probably be exactly what was needed!
  4. This is obviously the best outcome more than anything, but during my Sunday game, I had a playing partner skim a 5 iron across the water three times, hit a rock, bounce 30 feet in the air, and land five feet from the cup... He went from misery to celebration in 4 seconds hahaha
  5. Really? I have heard that the 5.5s are slightly MORE stiff than the s300 shafts... I have also heard that any of the project x (especially the flighted) shafts will increase your trajectory as well... So unless you're looking for a higher ball flight, why not just soft step some s300 shafts?
  6. I've slapped my putter, but never broken a shaft of my club because of it.. And you threw it out? Hope it wasn't an expensive wedge!!!
  7. Do you wear a glove? I usually get them after too many swings without a glove on.. Beyond that, they've never been an issue for me.
  8. I can't play top flites because I think they are comparable to hitting rocks, but I do agree that playing a ProV is total overkill. Any 15-25 dollar per dozen ball is more than sufficient nowadays..
  9. It's funny you make this comment, yet you drive around with the name of the car and car company on the back of said car. I would compare removing a dealership logo on a car to removing the logo of the golf course/shop logo that you bought the bag from.
  10. Big Blue Jackets fan here, but cheering on the Sharks to win the cup.. I really think whoever wins the series between Chicago and San Jose will win it all this year. The East just seems like it will fall short. I still can't believe Boston brought the Flyers back into the series the way they did. I know the loss of Sturm and Krejci was bad for them, but not four straight losses bad.
  11. I've been playing the Taylormade RAC tp wedges for over 5 years now, and I swear by them. Switched from Vokey's and probably won't go back, but I am in full agreement with those who say it's all about personal preference... Swing all the brands that have good ratings on any site, and find out which ones suit your swing style the best.
  12. Stand bags are way more manageable, and most manufacturers have designed hole setups that really spread out the clubs... Cart bags, unless you're ALWAYS on a cart, are awful to manage if you ever want to walk.
  13. You actually have a problem with people representing their equipment with their golf bag? That's an awkward beef to have.
  14. I much, much prefer carrying than pushing or riding. To me, that's golf.
  15. I've always felt that the bag should have some representation of what clubs you use, however, the more I think about it, the more I realize that frankly, the type of bag you are carrying may play a big factor in your game, and that one should buy the bag that best suits them (weight, size, features, etc).. Obviously using a Sun Mountain or Ogio bag is a different story, but my question to all of you, is do you think your bag should match some of your clubs, if your bag is associated directly with a club manufacturer? I guess it's more of a question of preference..
