  1. Who's the tool? Me or him.
  2. Them are all good ones. I knew this was the right place for some good ideas.
  3. Call me stupid, not sure what that is? Love that! Like that one! Doesn't Phil already have dibs on that one? LOL! Good one also!
  4. I'm pretty sure that attitude isn't going to help.
  5. It's just that its a little hard to believe. If you are hitting your 4h that far, that means you have to hit it about as pure and you can, not to mention have some ungodly swing speed. With that kind of swing speed, you should be able to hit a driver farther than 150 yards, even with a wicked slice. And I'm pretty sure Tiger and Phil don't hit thier 4h that far. Now for a tip. A slice to me means one of two things. Your cutting across the ball or your club face is open at contact or a combo of both which is worse yet. When you go to the range, start with nice easy swings. You would be suprised how far the ball will go with a 50% swing as long as you are hitting it in the sweet spot. From there build up your speed as you are getting more comfortable. When I start out with my driver on the range I always try to hit it 200 yards to get a good feel and warm up. Good luck!
  6. Boy that's a great idea!!
  7. Once again Sean, you make me laugh!!
  8. I'm looking to get a personalized plate for my car involving some kind of golf term. Any good suggestions containing 7 characters?
  9. Your DTL swing looked like a slice or cut shot. ?? Also the first thing that jumps out to me is that you are off balance, because you fall forward after your shot.
  10. I also would have to side with you. I seen Garcia re-dropping in his match against Kim in the Ryder Cup 2 year ago. Different situation, but the same ruling.
  11. Good job! Feels good doesn't it!
  12. Sean, think I chuckle every time I read one of your posts. Love it!!
  13. Another thing about taking divots on your practice swings is that you probably get chunks of dirt or grass on your club face, which you now have to remove, which now gets you out of your rhythm you are trying to get into.
  14. Not to be an ass, but there is not way you are hitting your "Dunlop" 4h that far if you can only hit your driver 120-170. Something just doesn't add up? I would have to see it to believe it.
  15. Freddie is just doing what every other golfer who turns 50 does. In 1997, Hale Irwin, who was only 52 had 9 wins on the Champions tour. So I would say what Fred is doing is nothing new.
  16. If your 3 putting a lot that means your lag putts are either coming up way short or your hammering them past. Which one? Work on your distance control. For shorter puts I like the 3 and 6 foot circle drill with 10 balls. Try and make it around the circle without missing. If you miss start over. Once you accomplish that, then try and make it twice around with out missing. Good luck!
  17. Didn't start playing regularly until I got out of the Navy in 96'. That's what got me hooked. Had a course on our base in San Diego. Very cheap for service members!! Anyway once I got out I got into a league and have been in one ever since. Always shot pretty well in league play, but never established an USGA handicap. Started doing that about 5 years ago and have been single digit ever since.
  18. I've been playing since I was 16, but never really took it seriously enough to establish a handicap until about 5 years ago. Always have been pretty decent. Once I started to establish a handicap it only took me about a year to get it to single digits.
  19. Wow! I'm jealous, can you take me on my 40th birthday? I keep telling my wife that's where she has to take me. Ha! Have fun!!
  20. Just watched them via Netfix. Totally has helped my game from 50 yards and in. Also love the putting drills he uses. The 3 foot circle with 10 balls is great. Lag put drill is great too. Highly recommend!!
  21. On CBS they just said he looks like a traffic cone with hair. That's funny!
  22. Looks to me like he could have doubled for Carol Brady:
  23. Its a conspiricy! Why don't you think we have solar powered cars yet?? ha! ha!
  24. I would suggest renting or buying "Secrets of the Short Game" by Phil Mickelson. A lot of great tips on chipping. It's really helped my short game from inside 50 yards. Plus he has some sweet trick shots that you will get a kick out of.
  25. I would love to help, but I'm in the same boat as you. Mine spin when I don't want them too, and don't spin when I want them too. Imagine that! I think that's something that everyone struggles with.
