  1. True that homes.
  2. Is that his get up on day 4 now? That orange suit outfit? Its original but terrible. Poulter and Villegas dress out there but have class to it. And yeah he is quarter japanese. Too bad he didn't win, I was going for him.
  3. That kid needs a fashion coach.
  4. Couldn't you claim some of your tax on travel expenses and so forth? That's wack if you're paying 42% tax yet still have to fork out money on travel expenses and accommodation.
  5. Speaking of the book "Paper Tiger" by Tom Coyne anyone else think the guy might be over exaggerating his golf handicap? The guy never hit below 75 in any of the tournaments he played...
  6. Ah you'll be right mate. Golf is like life, it can be frustrating at times but you keep pushing on like a hustler. You just hit a brick wall now you just gotta bash through it.
  7. Calm down peoples... Firstly what your cousin did was wrong. Why let two old women get you angry? Suck it up put a nice smile on your face and courteously apologise. Old women love that stuff.
  8. I'm not a fan of calorie counting at all. A calorie of fat is different to a calorie of Protein. Limiting yourself to just 1500 calories... you might have some initial results but I bet you you're gonna gain more weight by the end of it and just be frustrated to death. That's what it was like for me anyway. I would advice you to eat a diet decently high in protein and high in good fats. Stay aways from sugars (absolutely critical) and stay away from high starch foods which are bread, white rice and grains. If you do that you'll have very little food cravings because you stabilise your leptin levels. A great site is mercola.com view this post http://www.mercola.com/nutritionplan/index.htm and this one http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...1/leptin1.aspx
  9. Why are ilipinos good caddies? Since I'm half Thai will I be the next Tiger? Don't have a misses but nothing is cooler than a hot chick playing golf and nothing is un-cooler than losing to them.
  10. Sacm3bill speaks the truth. Walking 10km vs running 10km burns exactly the same amount of calories. Although the person who ran 10km will be better off in the long term. Faster metabolism, lean body mass, etc.
  11. SNAP! You tell him Shorty. Due to my lovely handicap I would never wear a golf cap. I would feel like a poser. So just a normal hat for me.
  12. It looks like his days of celibacy are over. I think he will be playing better golf now.
  13. That's the only thing that is keeping the LPGA's head above water. Hate to be sexist but the LPGA needs hot chicks who can play golf. Like Tennis has with Sharapova, Ivanovic, etc. Just speaking the truth.
  14. HAHAHA! Just saw this. Tooshay. Who msgs there son in law telling him he's buying new golf clubs? He saw this thread and you hurt his feelings. :)
  15. tell him to choke down on his 6 iron. Easy :)
  16. I get ya now. I think everyone has misinterpreted peoples choice of words. Some people are born freaks. No matter how hard I work I will never win a gold medal at the 100m sprint or the 100m freestyle at the Olympics. Someone mentioned that if Kobe Bryant or Lebron James took up Soccer instead of Basketball America would win the World Cup. I bet my house that they wouldn't. Show me a player over 6'5 who was brilliant at Soccer in it's whole history besides a goalie? (Although I do think Lebron James is a super freak who has more natural ability than M.J). It gets to me when people look at Tiger Woods or some other great player and say "He's so lucky, I wish I was naturally gifted at golf...." We all do but it takes a bit more than that mate.
  17. I'm backing Rory. Home court advantage :) sorta...
  18. Nice topic. To be honest it's a combination of both hard work and natural talent. You guys remember when Michael Jordan switched to baseball? No matter how hard he worked he wasn't going to be great like on the basketball court. But to say they are just merely freaks of nature is an insult to the players themselves. People seem to forget Tiger logs in around 9 hours of practice a day. It was common for Nick Faldo to practice 12 hours a day. Vince Carter is definitely more athletically gifted than Kobe Bryant but what separates the two is Kobe's insane work ethic. I think Phil has just as much natural talent than Tiger. The difference is one of them is in line for Krispy Kreme while the other is down at the driving range. Players in all sports who solely rely on their natural talents usually diminish with age. The great players are damn hard workers not just natural talents. Period. See the rise of Koren women in the LPGA? Are they naturally talented? Yes, but they have pretty much been breed to live and breath golf since they stepped out of the womb.
