I have had the misfortune of watching a 4some tee off from the tips on a 139 slope 73+ rated 7300 yard course. The first tee shot wasnt great but middle fairway 200 yards on a 400 yard par 4. The next three went a little different. Sir Shanksalot hits into the adjacent tee mound pops and rolls into heather. Next was the Lothar destroyer of worms, teeing off from a 10 foot high tee box he manages a negative 5 degree shot into the mound opposite which is covered in Heather. Lastly was their long ball hitter, Brian Dawkins, no really I think it was him. He hits the ball a massive 4 inches. Three shots later their all out of site but the round last 6 hours! PAINFUL

Driver 28* * potential to be scratch. Today i played 14 drives, 9 of which found trouble some only went 20 yards. My second shots went 280 to 340, some were greenside. I lost 15 strokes to tee shots today! Irons 10 not perfect but within reason short game 15 lost 3 strokes in the beginning b/c i didnt keep my head down on chips. (stoopid) putting 5 (yes a 5 if 35 putts works) Drives are a blessing or a curse!

maybe, ive been under 20 for at least 7 rounds. The course ratings range from 70.1 to 73 usually slopes are at 128 to 136. Ill try to start doing that from now on.. Last round i scored a 98 with a nine and an 8 on the card. So that wasnt exactly stellar, we were rushing(daylight), so I chalked it as a practice round.

I bought a 6i off ebay, Nike SUMO with xstiff shaft. I currently play with irons from walmart(probably made of lead and made in China) Played the 6i off the tee and it was awesome.

yea that would lower every round ive played over the last 10 rounds by 2 to 3 strokes per round, I usually score 2 snowmen per round.

I use driver,7w 6i 8i 9i pw 53degree lob & lob with long shaft & putter. My problems are 240 to 260 yard doglegs or 270 yard hazards.

Crap luck there. Thats one of the reasons ESC is used. Imagine if you did that every 18holes for 10 rounds, ---shoot18 over par and one hole accounts for 9 of those strokes---- sure you got a 18 and have a high HI. Now consider you stop blowing up that one or two holes per round and your in a tournament of stroke play and you shoot a 9 over you will quickly get the nickname sandbagger. It happens to me because i dont use ESC. I blow up 4 holes a round. The other 14 are usually 8 over par, factor in the 4 triple bogeys or quads and now im 20 over par. Ive been called a sandbagger jokingly when I play decent golf and actually avoid a blow up.

just played 18 and lost a few balls found a few more. If i play a wooded course with high grass i tend to play a used ball. I also had lyme disease. The solution is take a bath or shower after your round and de-bug. If the tick is engaged in your skin for more than 12 hours the chances of infection are greater.... Antibiotics did the trick for me.

If i hit the fairway and the ball is lost, i wont count the penalty. I have had rangers, other players on other holes take my ball so I dont see how thats fair to be penalized. Sun glare is the worst for finding balls. Last round oout was played at 5pm got all 18 in and the last 2 were in the dark, neither me or my mate lost a ball! In fact we shot better in the dark on those 2 holes than we did the other 16.

You might be right... Well I played last saturday with the pinched nerve neck/muscle whatever it was, and snap hooked 10 of 14 drives UGLY. Tonight i felt the pain a little and went like 270 on most and hit one or two long. I also topped 2 two! But Im Back, just gotta keep the swing under control

I just pulled a neck muscle and I attribute it to carrying my bag. Im a big durable guy, but consider the heat and humidity of this summer and its not hard to believe that the weight affects your swing which could result in an injury. Im laid up off of golf for at least a week. Im not carrying anymore. EVER. Its not worth it.

just play the majors and the sponsor events. He has lost his edge.
