Recently the company was bought by Some south Korean golf company. Builds one of most beautiful clubs in the world. Especially popular among old people like Honma. I have seen this rich dude talking about his Maruman full set and he said he paid more than $30,000 and his driver was plated in gold and had some beautiful classic Japanese art on it. Very popular over in Asia especially in korea and japan

I have these. Very light (95 grams). Very Ideal for slower tempo swings(for swingers rather than hitters). One of the most widely used shafts in Asia. Also very popular among LPGA tour professionals. Plays softer than dgs300 (I use stiff 950gh). High launch. I would say you give it a try with x stiff. Remember, these shafts are very soft. Probably the most advanced lite shafts available as Nippon is known for their lighter shafts.

I a agree with you. I ordered mine 2days ago. My shaft is ns pro 950 stiff. Hopefully they send mine right haha -
I just bought my mp53 over ap2 after hitting them both for about 3weeks. Mp 53 was easier to hit and felt better but what do I know... Both are great irons. Just try them both

MP 53 or AP2 or MP 63 or Cally X forged
Jkwakopo replied to Jkwakopo's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I will definitely try AP2s tomorrow, thanks for you feedback -
i have one... benefit is you can see the alignment because shaft is on the backside... It has amazing feel to it... I put every long putt within 3 feet... I love putting because of this putter lol... I picked this over many SCs and Nike Methods. I tried many different putters over 2 month period and picked this. Remember, this has soft insert... some people hate em... Also.. You will have to spend some time on the practice green.. The thing is akward.. just needs getting used to period...

Hey guys, I got a job in Korea and will be moving there at the end of this year... Golf equipments in Korea is really over priced and I'm looking to change my golf clubs. I usually shoot around low to mid 90s and about 140 yards with my x - 24 7 iron.. My game has improved over the summer and i finally broke 90 2 month ago... I love my x -24 but I just want more feedback from my club... also want something less forgiving. I got a natural mini fade swing. I haven't hit any of these clubs other than MP 53s old version MP 52.. It felt great. I'm leaning towards MP 53 or X forged (this is $500 at Amazon =) ) but price isn't a big factor... I'll be going to golf shops around Blacksburg/Roanoke (VA) area to test clubs. Also one more thing.. should i get club fitting for these sets??? I'm really comfortable with my x-24s shaft length and I know Mp53s are quarter inch shorter than my x-24s but shouldn't be a problem... which one would you buy? I would love to get some replies from owners of these clubs.. thanks guys!

Try Mizuno Mp series, my friend had mp-32 and it is forged, best club I ever tried. Great feel. But it was just too hard to hit for noob like me. I see your are still young. Why don't you try R9 TP? Or even Callaway X series. They tend to last longer also has great feel to it. One thing I didn't like about Mp 32... My friend took it to the pro shop every season to get check his loft, angles, and etc. And it also gets easily dinged up. Just my 2 cents

Form the white tee haha, got swing speed of 85-95 mph ( Im only 5' 7" and 130 lbs) with my driver and the guy at the dicks said my swing speed is very usuall with my handicap. He told me as I lower my score, my swing speed will go up. Hopefully he's right, I only hit about 220- 240 with my driver lol. Also should I take a lesson? Is it too late or too early? Or just don't take it because Bubba never took one? What you guys think? This summer I went to the course 3 times a week (Saturday and 36 holes on Sunday) and went to range 5 times a week. Also worked on my short game And putting at least 2 hrs a day. Jeez. I didn't even go to our VT football game ( we lost to Sub division team!) today, instead, I went to the green and practiced for 2 hrs in the rain. Talk about addiction lol

I bought my first club 2 years ago (r7 draw) but only played month or so, went to the course and stopped scoring after 140 or so lol. I picked up my clubs again about late may this year, and got my x-24 month later. I usually shoot around high 90s to low 100s. Never took a single lesson, just learning on my own and getting tips from whomever willing to help out. I always ask them to tell me what Im doing wrong. We do have same club, i love mine how's yours?

Thx for the reply and sorry, I pit this thread @ the wrong forum. I also played there and just wanted to ask what other players thought. Thx
