  1. have to confess...it's me.
  2. Sorry to report could not play this morning... was 54 at 0730. On the other hand, was 72 at 1500.. warm enuff to hit some balls. We'll be over this cold snap soon I hope.
  3. just a clafification: we ko pa is managed by obgolf not troon golf. ob has a eagle mountain, longbow, and whole list of properties. Troon Golf is the giant with courses under management all over the world. Talking Stick, Troon North both have two golf courses owned or managed by Troon Golf. There are many others. suggest web site Troongolf.com will get info for you. regards from scottsdale
  4. I use Golfwrx and Bomb Squad Golf. (BSG) Golf wrx seems a more civil forum and Bomb Squad is hustling tour equipment for low handicappers. IMO (also, lurk more than post, I 'm looking for input not worrying about putting my opinion on anyone else.) Of course, I have just done that but I just answered ur poll question.
  5. Funny, I jwas just at my storage rack and found five drivers in the penalty box. I use em until they misbehave then bring a sub. Pretty much same for putters (9 in the pen)
  6. FourPutt nailed. It's a club competition and the rules are the rules. Nail em on it. But, you can't wait. Like to know what eventual outcome was.
  7. I'd like to play in the rain but we don't have any.
  8. new kzg are custom fitted and just great clubs. They may be the best forged irons made for under $1000. Also can find used sets on Ebay with some regularity.
  9. Sheeesh! I have shoes older than most of you. Now almost seventy, I have been playing for 60 years. Hit my competitive peak at 15 playing in junior tournaments then found girls and cars about the same time. Hormones prevailed so golf was secondary for while but fortuneately I came to my senses. (after much experimenting with aforementioned)
  10. $3.00 per club in our area.
  11. I kind of like the look. Could make me dizzy tho. and...don't know how it helps line up square. good project and if you combine it with shaftskinz you'll drive your playing partners bonkers. Let us know how it works.
  12. all these sound incredibly low. From AZ west to Calif., private clubs run from low aroun $50000 to join plus monthly dues around $500 ++. In the case of the club I left last year, it is $75,000 to join, $550 mth dues and a $21.0 cart fee each round. On the plus side, it's year round golf, top notch facilities, play any time and in some cases a chunk of the get in is refundable when you leave. Many of the clubs in the Phoenix area are over $100,000 to join. Sounds like east coast golf is bargain dollar wise but short season makes cost per round fairly high.
  13. Well Edvardo, that sums it up for me. Well and truly said.
  14. Using a Krank 9* with a graman xd pro stiff shaft and swap off with a big bang, ust v2 force, reg. Depends on mood or current swing. Have tried almost all the name brands and except for the taylor superquad just don't like what you get the for the money. Don't ask how may drivers and putters are currently in the misbehaved barrel.
  15. Prob shud look at Sun Mountain MPB (multi purpose bag) and then Nike Sasquatch Tour series. both have the 14 slot interior and stand legs that fold close for cart use. Look at Ebay golf bags for some descriptions and prices.
