  1. You are right. There are upsets every week in college football. Thats what makes it very interesting . Vegas just gives a fair assessment of who the better team is. It's not foolproof, but is a very good indicator.
  2. ESPN showed a piece over the weekend where a Vegas sportsbook made point spreads for a hypothetical matchup of the top 7 teams in the SEC vs. the top 7 in the Big 10. 1 vs. 1, 2 vs.2, 3 vs. 3 from both conferences, and so on. In all games but one , the SEC would be favored. Even though they appear to be down a little this year, from top to bottom they are far superior to any other conference. Vegas knows. Trust me
  3. Damn this crazy juice is good. Was that the Dawgs JV team trying to tackle Lattimore?? LOL
  4. Hey, I got a signed AJ Green Georgia jersey for sale if anybody is interested. Just thought I'd let ya'll know. Go Cocks!!!
  5. Gamecocks looked pretty good last night. Although Southern Miss is pretty bad. I'm starting to really like them against GA next week. Especially with Gilmore shutting AJ down.
  6. Dunes West is a great course. And the links course at Wild Dunes is fantastic also.
  7. I agree and had the same problem. I bet your are 15 yards right of the target. Remember, to hit a draw the face has to be slightly closed at impact to the swing path. Not necessarily to the target. You dont want to swing too far from the inside, but the more you swing from the inside, the less closed the face has to be to impart the draw spin.
  8. I have both. a 20 degreee hybrid and an 18 degree fairway wood. I wanna get rid of one for another wedge. I would prefer to get rid of the 5 wood and find a hybrid to split the gap between 3 wood and 4 iron. was wonderin if i should get a 18 or maybe 17 or 16, to get a 5 wood distance.
  9. And sense we are both SEC guys, Im sure you like Tennessee as much as i do. This video kills me. I love it.
  10. p.s. The gamecock receivers are far superior to UGA's. It's not even close
  11. jeffery may have played 10 plays in first three games and scored as many td's as green last year. Just remember what i told ya. You gotta have somebody that can throw him the ball.
  12. Not trying to be a party pooper, but unless anybody here can hit a high fade, low fade, high draw, low draw on command , whenever they want, then you are wasting your money. Buy some nice forged cavity backs instead. The same feel, with a hair more forgiveness. You will be very happy you did.
  13. If you are working hard and striving to get better, get a players club. Your handicap is low enough that you will be able to hit them some. With practice, yes, they will force you to improve your swing. Im doing that same thing now. You will grow into the clubs. Not many single digit handicappers hit game improvement clubs. Thats for a reason. Most older golfers have never swung a GI club. Just get a forged cavity back to start with. Not a blade. lol
  14. I know there are many variables, but if everything is as equal as possible(shaft, golfer, etc.) What do you think the yardage and trajectory difference between an 18 degree hybrid and an 18 degree fairway wood is?
  15. I wanna see how good lattimore is too. Saunders is good but he aint great. He could still play. Alshon Jeffery will have more catches and td's than Green this year. Thats a lock. He had just as many TD's and almost as many catches as a freshman, and didnt even play in the first 3 games. lol UGA doesn't have a QB. Could be a great game as usual, but I think USC will be a little too good for them this year.
  16. UGA better worry bout second game of the year against USC. Bout time for the cocks to win that one again. On paper, they have the best team they have had in 20 years
  17. I say pull out two, and put in a lefty fairway wood also for the times when u need more distance. LOL
  18. Very cool. I may have to try that.
  19. I agree. But for some beginners the huge face gives them confidence that they can hit the ball. Rarely will they swing and miss with a driver. lol Whatever you get buy a used one off of e-bay. cause as a beginner, you are gonna tear the paint up on it. It's just a natural process
  20. If you like a challenge and incredible scenery, try caledonia or true blue. They are both in Pawleys Island. 20 min. drive down seventeen south of Myrtle beach. They are the best two courses at the beach if you ask me. http://courses.golf.com/top-courses-...y|LT+121&Nty;=1
  21. Glen Dornoch is a really nice unique course at the beach. It's a links course. Not too hard, but challenging and has several very memorable holes. It's a cant miss
  22. It can be done, but you have to totally dedicate your life to it. Every pro player at every level has done that. The game is that hard. But it is acheivable. It will cost thousands of hours and dollars and strain on relationships. All you have to do is go to the practice round for the masters and sit in the stands behind the driving range. When the worst player hits a full shot, it makes a sound that we might hear once a month. And thats the worst player, and he hits it like that every time. Television does it no justice. You have to see in person, then u will realize something is very wrong with those guys. It's inhuman
  23. Im Rad Cochran, and I'm an auditor. damn, this is a lot like AA. lol
  24. Brett Favre is a manipulator of almost every decision off the field to try to get his way. He doesnt want to go to camp. It's that simple. He is not a very decent honest person. Rather deceitful . But on the field he is the toughest sob i have ever seen play. And he more than any other player EVER can take the mundane and turn it into the magnificent. Any football fan knows this is true, and will be tuning in to see him against the Saints opening thursday night. He plays football the same way Mickelson plays golf. You have to love it. Just my two cents. lol
