Hi Anyone know if the founders club ds2 are any good ? I am after a set for under $400 as I do not play much and seen these on ebay for a pretty good price. I am also looking at the maxfli xd mkiii, srixon invincible or Infiniti hi-tech any advise would be great . I am left handed and 6'2 and live in Australia I only play like once a year but am looking at getting back into golf as i have a job that will allow me to now, so I am just after a starter set . I shot a 96 today in the rain for the front 9 ... so I am happy with it considering what it could have been,

We knew it was just a matter I time to be back in the 80s easily.  Each part of your game was showing that capability easily.  It was just a bad round driving, a fluke bunker, out of characteristic three putts- you name it.  One part of your game each day seemed to set you back, but overall each was good enough in the big picture to put you well into the 80s.   So I'm not surprised.  Great to see the consistency coming around though.  I think I've said above: you've definitely earned it! Hope you roll right through the 80s now!

Noticing that when I paste the URL for YouTube videos and Instagram that some are embedding and others aren't. Tweets seem to be fine. It's just been inconsistent for me. • Putting and Chipping How much can practicing it increase your score?
      By JonMA1 · Posted
My scores have come down in the last month or so and I have been averaging in the 90's. Earlier in the season I was probably at double-bogey golf. I normally play tees at or less than 6000 yards.   One reason scores have dropped is because of improved full swing iron play. But that doesn't mean I think the short game is unimportant.   Today’s 93 was better than I normally shoot, even though my irons shot dispersion was off. I tried to keep track of a few stats. Took some quick notes while playing and depended on memory for the rest. I think it’s pretty accurate.     I agree with the 60/25/15 practice ratio, but not because the full swing is twice as important as the short game. It’s because the short game is easier to learn and requires less maintenance.   Basically, I believe that regardless of what level of golf you play, it’s important to have a well-rounded game. Bad putting may not hurt your game as much as a bad full swing, but you still lose strokes. Missing putts inside 3 ft requires work or it’ll be hard to score low - regardless of how good your full swing is.       *Anyone new to the site should know to take what I post with a grain of salt. It's just an opinion from a crappy player.
