Grips

Hi all, i'm going to treat my 2yr old irons to some new grips. I have a Golf Pride DD2 grip on my driver and it gives really good grip.

Should i get my irons fitted with the same or do you have any better recommendations?

Re: Grips

I re-grip a lot of clubs for friends, etc .... there are so many choices out there to choose from. I let THEM pick the grip they're comfortable with; if you like the DD2's put them on your irons. A cheaper alternative to the DD2's (similar but cheaper) are the Medalist "Dual Color" grips. I've also had customers choose and like the Lamkin "Performance Plus" at about half the cost.

Just my opinions - always go with what you like ...

Re: Grips

I think that is a really good choice, I personally like a cord grip and use the New Decade Multi cord.

Yep. I love this grip too. Just got my driver and hybrid redone a few weeks back and that's what I put on them both.

Re: Grips

I use Lambkin Crossline grips. I love the feel of them for whatever reason. I just regripped 3 clubs with midsize, but it seems that my shots are going a little right, so I am gonna rip em off and go with standard size.
