Does your club come back to address position at impact?

This has been one of the mysteries of golf swing as a beginner. I was told that you want to return your club to address position at impact. The trouble for me though is that your wrist gets flatter(stretched) at impact due to centrifugal force (arguably combined with spine angle change). I guess this image illustrates the point well.

With short irons, the effect is less since the angle between your arm and club is more or less flat to begin with but with longer clubs, the arm/club angle difference is more pronounced at address.

So my question to low handicappers here is how do you deal with it? (or do you even think about this?) I guess one way is to fight the centrifugal force is try to maintain the wrist angle at impact by force but that would hinder your release, I think. The other way is to lift up your hand (and torso) to compensate for the 'stretching' of the arm/club, as seen above. And it feels to me this is the way I do it more or less subconsciously. Otherwise I feel that it will cause my swing bottom to be lower than address position.

The third option is to address with your arm and wrist stretched out, mimicking the impact position. That I guess is how the Moe Norman's swing came about. But I do know that Ben Hogan preached getting arms tightly together with torso for accuracy and power.

So I'm really confused.

"During our weekly Lamaze class, the instructor emphasized the importance of exercise, hinting strongly that husbands need to get out and start walking with their wives. From the back of the room one expectant father inquired, "Would it be okay if she carries a bag of golf clubs while she walks?"

because the spine is not working in a biomechanically correct position, the hands can't come back to the original shaft plane. Toms can strike it though so he's making it work for him and his pattern.
