Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord Vs Lamkin Crossline and Tour Black Full Cord

I currently have the stock Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord on all of my clubs right now. I was thinking about trying something different for my irons. I was wondering what people think that have experience with the Golf Prides and the Lamkin grips mentioned in the title. I'm interested in the Lamkin Crossline, Crossline Soft Cord, and Tour Black Full Cord.

Are the Lamkin's considerably softer than the firm Golf Pride Cords? Hows the traction on them?

The Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord feels the firmest of all three and has the least cord material exposed. It is the most durable grip of the ones you mentioned. The Lamkin Crossline Soft Cord has a firm feel, but soft cord. I'm not a big fan of the interaction between the crossline pattern and cord feel. To me, it just feels odd. The Tour Black Full Cord is my favorite grip on the market. It has a lot of exposed cord, but a semi-soft rubber it is suspended in. It has great traction and feel, and combines the firm feel of the Velvet Cords with the cord of the Crosslines. Great grip, and is made to be turned logo down.
