I have a TM425 (set to slight draw) and a 3 hybrid (pre-set to draw). My ball flight was kinda straight, but I still experienced slices/fades every now and then. This was working okay until recently when I have started to draw the ball, almost bordering on a slight hook. Could it be that my swing has improved?? I'm debating whether I should move the weights around, or just change my stance. Off the tee, I am able to use this to my advantage, as I set-up left side of the tee box, and am getting a middle/left of the fairway results. But, with the hybrid just about everything is favoring the left side.

Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks.

Swings come and go, so unless you have been consistently hitting draws/hooks for a while then you may not want to read that much into it. That said, the cool thing with movable weights is you can, well, move them. If I were you I would play around a bit with them to see if you can notice a difference.

Im not trying to rude or anything to you, but with a 21 hcp you dont have a consistent enough swing to where it would make a difference to change the weight in your driver.. take some lessons from your pro, that is what will make a difference..

goodluck

I'm sorry, but I respectfully disagree. Since switching to this driver (and configuring it to draw), I have driven the ball better than I ever used to (Nike 400 CC and R5). For what's it worth, this club has helped my game, handicap not withstanding.

Sure, ultimately lessons are the way to go if you want to see a real change in your swing. But unfortunately most golfers I've met are not that committed(including myself) to lessons. That's why "game-improvement clubs" are a multi billion dollar industry. Folks are looking for the 'next miracle drug', without having to work for it. Just ask Taylor Made what they've sold in MWT clubs till date, and what they see the future holding for their new Draw weighted clubs. Yes, in an ideal world we're all single digit handicaps and are playing blades and drivers with square faces. Until then, I'll continue to use what I have...with a lesson or two thrown in

I believe you.. however its not from the weights in the driver. you change the flight path on the 425 r7 between the biggest draw to the biggest fade and there are only 13 yards from one side to another. you can not tell me this makes a night and day difference for people with hcp over 20 sorry not buying it..

I sell about 30,000 to 40,000 euros worth of there product every year, I know what people buy from hcp +2.3 all the way to beginner..

I wasnt trying to put you down with your hcp I know what its like to work hard on my game and bring it down.. now dont get me wrong they make great stuff for every game.. Your swing is 80% mental, to tell you the truth I dont hit the nike, cleveland, or the cobra driver as well as the one from TM. All in all Im just saying the weight changing on our driver is reserved for the tour player or someone with that swing. My weights are set up low flight with a slight draw.. I hit the ball mostly straight even if I set the weights to strong high fade. So again what I was saying is that changing the weight to high fade isnt going to straighten out a snap hook..

Sure, I'll buy the part about golf being mostly mental. Whatever the club does, weights or not, it has helped my game. Do I hit the ball straight every time? No way, but my drives are a lot better than they used to be (without lessons) compared to my old driver. Whatever the reason, I'll take it :)

My feedback is that I am a little more consitent with this club - by no means has it solved my swing woes.

I agree 100% that is the same reason why I have one in my bag. Compaired to the 400cc head its a night and day difference between the two.

that is the great thing about the tech it gets better everyday.. and therefore helping all of us better our game..
