Hi everyone

Dose anyone know what the swing weight of my G15 9* would be if a cut 1.75" off it. Its the 149 stock shaft (stiff). And any problems I might encounter if I do.

Played a few shots with a loaned driver today and it was about 2 inch's shorter than mine and if was far easier to control. I'm 5 10 and the loaned driver was off a guy that was 6 2. I love my g15 and would like to keep a similar swing weight and I was wondering if their was a way of doing this without a full re shaft.

Thanks

I just purchased a G15 this weekend.  I am really loving it so far.  I found out while on the launch monitor that I was more consistent(as would be expected) and longer(not expected)  when I choked up an inch and a half.    Sure, I hit one or two out of ten balls 10-15 yards farther than any of my shots choking up, but I also mishit and hooked a few.  When we averaged it out, I averaged 5 yards farther while choking up.  I also find that I put a smoother and better swing on it when I choke up and don't feel like I have a telephone pole with a 460cc head on the end of it.

You also have the extra club lenght if you happen to need it on a certain hole, or if you end up playing more to where you can hit just as solidly without choking up.  JMO. Good luck.
