Alright so Bridgestone came to my local course today for a ball fit day and I have been wanting to try their balls again so I drove out there and here is what the machine had to tell me.

I will start with IDEAL for my swing speed (all this info is driver oriented)

Speed (mph) 116.4, Ball Velocity 172.3, Launch Angle 10.4, Back Spin 2239, Carry Distance 300

Now for MY numbers

Speed (mph) 116.4, Ball Velocity 156.8 (awful smash factor), Launch Angle 13.5, Back Spin 4337, Carry Distance 244

The pro happend to be standing there while I was hitting and I have a consultation scheduled with him so he can analyze my swing and see why my ball velocity is so low.

Either way it's very discouraging to see the IDEAL numbers then my ACTUAL numbers when i'm crushing the ball with my irons and playing my 3 iron litterally as long as my driver potential at the moment

Are you hitting it off the heel?  Try to see if you can find out what your angle of attack is.  Wonder if the AoA is too negative

Mv that's what we are going to be looking out when I get on the range with the pro. I am already struggling with plying an unwanted powerfade I'm hoping I'm not hitting down on the ball too much

Matt, its not really that I'm reading into the numbers extensively but it is tough to discount them when the computer feedback is matching up perfectly with the real world results. It's really telling me its time to get my swing tweaked for the better.
