During the (brief) period when I was striking the ball consistently, particularly irons off the deck, I was using a two piece takeaway where I would cock my wrist almost immediately at the start of my back swing.
I moved away from that and worked on a one-piece takeaway, since that seemed to be the most recommend method. Ever since I've had super inconsistent ball striking, chunks, tops, accuracy issues, etc.
This morning towards the end of a pretty horrific round, I tried using a two-piece takeaway again, and lo and behold, my shots improved immediately.
Now, I'm going stick with this because it works for me. I'm curious though what the perceived problems are with it. Any thoughts?
