Golf Expo, Tinley Park, IL

Hey guys, I am wondering if anybody from the ST is going to be at the golf expo this weekend in Tinley Park, IL. Its about 30 min south of Chicago. I have never been to an expo and I can't wait for this weekend. My playing partners have been to a few before and they love them. Does anybody have any good or bad experiences at golf expos? What should I expect?

The one in Cleveland is a joke.  For starters, it's held at what we call the IX Center near CLE airport.  They clip you for about 8 bucks parking.  Walk into convention center and pay $12 for a chance to come inside and spend more money.

I was interested in hitting irons from a few makers.  Stood in line for about 30 minutes to demo some clubs at one of the 20 or so indoor hitting stations.  Imagine my surprise when it was my turn to go hit and they charged me $6 for a thimble-full of golf balls.  Grudgingly paid the $6 at stopped by the Adams equipment area.  They didn't even have the model of clubs I wanted to try!

Same for the Ping stations.  Bunch of beat to hell clubs in an 'attractively painted' GARBAGE can, but again, NOT the model I wanted to demo.  Taylormade was NOT even there!!!  Strike three.

Walked around the place for another 30 minutes looking at all the 'flea-market' trash people had for sale.  What a waste of a 45 minute drive there and back.

Sorry for a poor review.  I hope the one in Tinley Park is better than Cleveland!
