Re: With 85-90 MPH Driver Swing Speed, Do you think I can get the most out of TM TP Rgood article in GOLF magazine in February issue (maybe on web) about golf ball selection. Suggests maybe a higher handicapper can still benefit by these high spin balls, they are hitting less greens and struggle more to put spin on ball, so easier spining balls will help greenside play. Problem is, if you slice or hook as well, these balls will do that more. Also, lots of money for those balls, so if you're a higher handicapper and loose balls, well it gets expensive.
bottom line... I think they DO have their merits and can help.
Also, Taylor made has just introduced the Burner TP ball and the Burner ball, as well as taking over the Noodle line, so the website is simply not updated. I have seen the new Burner and Burner TP balls in stores.
I also have a suspicion that these Burner TP's are the same as the Maxfli Fire Tour, and the Burner is the Maxfli Fire... anyone else see the similarities in product description and market? The Maxfli's Fires are all super cheap right now too, maybe because Taylormade is switching them over to the Burner line?
