I have been playing my Apex Plus Irons since I bopught new in 2000 and love them. They are just getting a little worn , particularly on the clubs I practice with so have been shopping for some of the same. When I saw a set in mint condition I jumped on them. Turns out they are the ones Callaway had made once they took over in 2006 and are slightly different design on the muscle back. Straighter muscle back versus my original set and have etching around the top of the hosel. Other than that look the same, have same Apex 4 shafts in them, at least that is how they are tagged. Has anyone ever hit the Callaway version of the Hogan Apex plus irons? How do they compare to the originals?
