Hi,

I'm gonna buy a Cobra F9 driver and have decided to go with the Hzrdus black 6.5. And now I'm deciding on 65g or 75g. Because of reasons I cant try this in a trackman.

A little background:

7 iron in trackman 96-98mph.

Used to play Diamana Ahina 65g.

Tried Hzrdus Yellow in my current driver, and it cant handle my swing - it was a bad choice. Hook it a lot.

The 65gram should be an great choice I think, but does anyone think I could benefit from the 75g? Like added accuracy etc. And could the torque hurt me in some way?

Wedges: Cobra King Black 50* & 58*, KBS C-Taper S+

You shouldn’t see that much difference. A heavier club might give you a bit more awareness of the club in the swing.

Yeah.

I decided to go with a 65gram shaft and 44.5 lenght (tour lenght). Looked like better accuracy 🙂

    • I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
    • Day 150 1-10 focus on arching the wrist and getting the ball to go left. Recorded, hit foam balls.
