Tennesse will probably win. They are more battle-tested than Memphis. Don't get me wrong, it is very impressive that Memphis is still undefeated. I just feel like Tennessee is a more mature team based on the competition they have faced (even with the SEC being down this year).

I have to go with Tennessee on this one. They are my second team, I have family that live down there and I have always rooted for them. I also think they are the better team. I know Memphis is undefeated, but come on they play in C-USA. Which is not that tough of a conference.

I'm going with p_funk. I think Tennessee, because of the SEC, has to be tougher.
Besides that, I saw Bruce Pearl on Pardon The Interruption this week.
He is the best interview in men's basketball.

OK you got the Vols.

How do you stand Kornheiser???? He drives me batty. On the other hand, I've always like Mike Wilbon.

OK you got the Vols.

Different strokes for...

I love Kornheiser. He's bright, knows his sports, and is intentionally corny and off the wall. My favorite bit was him telling Wilbon he was leaving and " getting back into porn ". He went on to explain that he was a bigger star than John Holmes because of his patented move: " The Angry Crab ". Now I'm sitting their trying to figure out what you could possibly do in sex that would be like an angry crab. After about 60 seconds of exploring my perverted fantasies, I realized he got me and I laughed out loud for a couple of minutes." Wilbon is a better broadcast journalist but he's Kornheiser's straight man. I watch it as a comedy show just like Around The Horn. I don't watch Monday night football so I can't defend him there.

i voted for tennessee, but i really don't like their guard lofton, even though he hit those two free throws at the end. he takes stupid, impossible, falling sideways tree pointers with 20 left on the shot cock. he dribbles into triple teams when he has a wide open pass. he scored 7 points last night.

Hey say what you will about the kid, and I agree that he makes some bad decisions, but he also just went over the 2,000 point mark for his career. Not to many people get to that level.

    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
    • Day 204 (22 Nov 24) - Weekly men’s group round today.  Temps in the upper 40’s, WNW winds 5-15mph - was the old man in the foursome (next youngest is my junior by 10yrs) - held my own against them.  Iron play getting more consistent -seeing predictable ball flights and distances. While the consistency coming around still had sone solid negatives as I had two dbls and one triple. On the plus side - eight pars and one birdie.
    • I don't think anyone will really care.   It's your call.  Just be consistent.
    • I agree, until we are watching the 18th hole in the dark or waiting for the champion to finish and it's been 5+ hours
    • Question for the group. The course I normally play at has 27 holes - 3 9s that they use to for 18 in the various combinations. Is it okay to declare* if I’m playing front or back when I play 9 on this course? I’m figuring I need to declare before I play a shot. *meaning just say to myself that this is the back 9. Curious what people think. Of course, my only holes left are 13 and 17, so I’m going to declare the back 9 for the rest of the year. Probably only one or two more rounds though.
