....I was fitted for clubs yesterday. Ended up going with the Cobra FP's. Standard length, loft and -2 lie.

They probably won't be here in time for next weekend, hopefully I'll get them before Good Friday/Easter weekend.

The wait is going to KILL me! ;)

Congrats. I just picked up that same set and I really like them. We're buried under a foot of snow right now, so waiting on clubs would be easy here.

Yea, it's been pretty cold here, but tomorrow it's going to be almost 60, I'm hoping to get at least 9 in after work.....it'll be one of my last rounds with the old clubs.

I just ordered my TP Irons from TGW. Didnt get them customized for my swing. My specs arent far off from standard, so a lil' adjustment in swing wont be to hard.

I was going to get the customized but the order wouldnt be sent out till the end of march from tgw. Golfsmith is worse - order now it ships at the end of april.

Cant wait that long.

My father-in-law got a set of FPs for Christmas.
He has gotten to hit the wedge a few times in his back yard, but its been too cold to play or go to the range.

I just bought myself a new set of Mizunos. So I am in the same boat..

Spring can't get here fast enough!!!!

fp's are great, i broke 95 for the first time right after i got them. in weather news, today has been the 102nd straight day with now on the ground here. it is 50 today, and will be all week, so IT WILL FINALLY BE GONE (knock on wood)
it better be, cause high school golf starts april 2nd.

You... Not so lucky.. I do believe that is why they make orange balls... To play in snow... You have to decide which sucks worse.. Not getting to play, or losing your little toe to frostbite. The choice is yours my friend.. Choose well..

That'll be next. I'm looking into a 2 & 4 hybrid now. I need to see the distanced on the new FP's now. It's funny, the 5 tour cleek is about the same size of alot of hybrids I've tried........

Have you had a chance to take them out yet?

What a coincidence.. I picked up my Mizunos this morning.. They rode around all day in the truck with me. I was hoping to get out to the range this afternoon, but I needed to put a new pump in my washing machine. Not even Santa Clause is going to stop me from going Saturday!

This is making me so jealous!! I have a set of Mizuno MP67 irons on order, and because it is easter i definitely wont see them until at the earliest wednesday

      This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score

      Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.       We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
