3wood/Fairway Woods shaft? Grap OR Steel?

I'd agree, I prefer steel shafts on fairway woods for accuracy.

I have a graphite shaft on my new 3 wood, Callaway FT and I like but generaly always steel.

I prefer steel also, I dont like the whip in my fairway woods. Alot more control with steel shafts.

my new 3-wood has a graphite shaft, and i sometimes lose control of accuracy, but it launches higher and farther.....

I like graphite simply because of the feel. It all comes down to personal preference...I woul reccomedn a heavy graphiet shaft

I feel along the same lines in a fairway wood as far as sacrificing some distance for accuracy but when I got my new fairway wood last year I went graphite because i've always had a bit of trouble getting the ball in the air enough off the turf with a steel shaft and the graphite has definitely helped that along with the increased swing speed.

I think if you get a solid graphite shaft in the wood you won't lose as much accuracy as maybe years past.

I can't think of any players on tour that still use steel in his/her fairway woods. Graphite shafts are so well built these days that there is little difference between graphite and steel.

I agree... sort of... maybe

when you say little difference do you mean that you don't necessarily loose control with a good graphite... so why not go for one since your distance will likely improve?
