I just ordered it to replace my callaway hybrid. I really needed something to hit on tight par 4's and off the deck on long par 5's. I opted for the aldila VS Proto shaft.

Please tell me i made the right decision.!!

Congratulations. The F4 is typcial Titleist Quality..I love the small and narrow head opposed to the f2.

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

Yes, i read it. why do so many guys like the UST shaft opposed to the Aldila?? I swing the driver about 113 mph.

Swing speed is one factor but as I'm sure you know, tempo has a lot to do with it. I like the UST because the low torque gives me added control and stability. I don't swing quite as fast as you, but I am aggressive.

Titleist isnt a "players'' brand...i know a lot of high handicappers who trust the quality and performance of a titleist club...The 904f is pretty forgiving IMO--i used to have one and can tell you that there are a lot of titleist clubs that appeal to the mid and high handicapp golfer....Best wishes--and try out the 904f because it is very very solid and forgiving

they are very easy to get in the air so no worries there.

I went to Titleist from Callaway woods and my handicap is in the teens. I really low profile of the 906f4, makes you feel very confident on tight lies. Only thing, I have it with the GD YS-6+ shaft, think I am going to switch over to the VS Proto as I have been hitting some serious hooks with it (I naturally have a slight fade). Highly recommend, great look and sound as well as wonderful playability.
