I love their irons...but ill tell you their new insight driver is very underrated..Adams is a company that is booming..Just look at all of the Golf digest Gold's they have...I tried the a3 boxer hybrid and it was a pleasant suprise...it felt a lot more solid than any hybrid that ive ever hit--Credit to Adams Golf with their Technology

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

I've been hitting Adams long sticks for a few years now. I've been hitting the Redline RPM dual weight for a couple years, and hit it better than any other driver I've owned, besides the Adams Tight Lies driver I owned previously!! They seem to fit me well, I swing them well.

I have some Tight Lies Tour GT Irons I think they are. They look like blade irons almost. I struggle with these. Haven't tried the oversize irons or hybrids from Adams. . . YET!

Love my Idea Pro hybrids... fantastic shaft!

I hit the a3 XTD driver and was very impressed... it doesn't look real square like the sumo which is nice. I would like to try it with a different shaft though, just out of curiosity.

Also... I absolutely LOVE my Idea Pro irons... these are great clubs. They are a forged players cavity with Black Gold shafts. I was actually looking at Titleist (735.CM), the Cleveland CG red, and these Adams Idea Pros... all three sets felt pretty damn good. The CG's were the most forgiving, while the Titleist and Adams were a little more workable. I chose these because they looked the best, came with shafts that felt the best, and I got a hybrid with the set. I can't say enough good things about these irons (I just played my 16th round with them today).
My Clubs: Callaway FT-i Tour LCG 9.5° w/ Matrix Ozik Xcon 6 stiff; Sonartec GS Tour 14° w/ Graphite Design Red Ice 70 stiff; Adams Idea Pro 2h(18°) & 3h(20°) w/ Aldila VS Proto 80 stiff; Adams Idea Pro Forged 4-PW w/ TT Black Gold stiff; Cleveland CG12 DSG RTG 52°-10° & 58°-10°; Odyssey...

I Had the a3 xtd driver and it was awesome I just wanted a traditional shape head. I now have the Insight BTY and for 100 on ebay its sound and feel compare to 400 dollar drivers easily. I do have the 3 and 5 wood A3's they are like cannons. The 3 wood goes nearly as far as my driver. I absolutely love the DVS shaft. I recommend these to anyone any skill lvel. I'm off 5 and can still kinda work it with these. Gluk

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
