Has anyone been to this golf course? If you have let me know what you think. I am just starting out and want to see how I will do on an actual course. BTW it's really cheap. Thanks.

yes ive played here a couple of times. its very short and simple. i wouldn't say this is a real course. its what you would call a "pitch and putt". not much too it, but it would be a good one to start out on. after that check out mission bay or tecolote

I have never played the par 3 at sycuan. it looks like a decent executive course though, ive played oak and willow there but never had the chance to play the par 3. considering the big courses are in good shape, the par 3 is probably pretty nice too.

      Day 51 (yesterday was 50, not 59 -- that was a typo).  I didn't have a ton of time today.  I hit a dozen balls with a 6-iron in my practice room.   Amazingly, after this I did the ShotScope analysis of yesterday's round;  my approach play was at the 5 hcp level.  That's pretty darn good, but unfortunately for my score, some of that came from hitting a few good recovery shots.  But I also hit some really good approach shots that weren't from trouble!

      Shot a 37 today! Palmer Course, PGA National. Really fun. 6/9 GIR, no lost balls. The double and the bogey were both three putts from like 35 feet or so.  The birdie at the last was really fun. I stood over that fifteen footer and thought wow I’m really about to make this, aren’t I? And I hearted it. Really fun. It’s like 9000 degrees outside but I battled through it well. Good times.

      I had been in a bit of a slump for the month of June. Handicap index has slowly risen, and there were few sub-80 scores. Today was a different story at Leslie Park GC. Lots of solid shots, GIR's, up & downs, for a 77 (7.8 differential). As with most rounds, there were a few loose shots and crappy putts, but it was a good day.
