Flying into ATL on Sept 11 (Thu), early, leaving Sept 15 (Mon), late. Dates are fixed. Trying to hit the best RTJ Trail stops without spending half the trip in the car.

Plan:

Thu: Grand National (Lake or Links)

Fri: GN AM, then drive to Capitol Hill, play Senator

Sat: Capitol Hill – Judge

Sun: Ross Bridge

Mon: Oxmoor Ridge early, drive to ATL

Thinking about squeezing in Cambrian Ridge after Capitol Hill—worth it or too much?

Would love any feedback or tips from those who’ve done it.

I did the RTJ trail, we just did Grand National and Capitol Hill. We were trying to minimize travel time. It gave us 5 courses to play. You pare playing 3 of the 5 we played.

If I had to pick, I would play the Lakes over the Links at Grand National. Links felt too penal on approach shots. If you can't get height or spin, it felt like every ball that hit the center of the green ran off the back. A lot of the greens require force carry, no running it up. It just wasn't that fun to play.

Judge - Really good course, some really cool holes and terrain.

Senator - Really fun open course. They call it link style, I can't remember how much you can play the ball down, but it has the aesthetic appeal.

Thanks Matt! Also, does this list have a lot of diversity of layout and scenery? I'd like to see as much as possible of what the RTJ trail has to offer
