Before I laid off golf a couple of years ago, I was loving the Callaway CB Red and then went to the Blue.

I wonder which current ball is close to this one?

Long, soft, great iron spin, well mannered on the greens and less than $30 dozen.....is this too much to ask for?????

I would say the new Hot-bite is you're best bet. Also, try wal-mart. They have a surprising selection of Callaway balls, including the Warbird, Big Bertha, CXB, all at good prices that would compare to the CB pretty closely.

Cool.

I never thought WalMart carried the good stuff. I'll certainly be checking them out.

I need to load up on tees anyway. They have about the cheapest thing going.

they hot bite isn't like the Cb's in that the CB's feel light and hot off the face. The hot bite have a heavier feel.

The most similar ball to the Cb's is probably the Srixon AD333's. If the AD333's had a firmer core they'd be very very similar the CB blue.

Another one to try is the e5+ but it feels heavier and stickier than the CB Blue.

The ball market seems to have diverged from the CB Blue, softer and easier to get in the air or firmer 3 peice.
