Repairing / Replacing Towl Rings

The trusty old ring on my towel finally gave out and was wondering if anyone here knows of a tool that can make a new circle on the towel

I know they exist just cant get a name on it / a place to find one

(the tool that creates the ring and seals it off with two metal caps)

You can buy the kits to do that at home improvement stores such as Home Depot or Lowes.

Funny you should mention this -- I was just thinking I need some of these as well. I have several towels I'd like to use as golf towels and wanted to add them myself.

Try a Google search on "7/16" brass eyelet tool". It appears that Zinc plated eyelets are pretty common too.

These are what you are looking for, right?

picked up a nice heavy duty wrench tool to install the grommets and about 10 grommets for like 14.99
