it was lucky that the bast coaches sent the runners but it was a great diving catch. cabrera had another great diving catch last night as well. i think it was an over the shoulder diving catch.

cabrera said he said he forgot that it was a unassisted triple play and threw the ball up to the fans. lucky fan.

I never really got it at first because it happened so fast. That was amazing

I've seen guys trying to do it, but they got really greedy and didnt do it, making themselves look like fools in the process.

Unassisted triple plays are always cool. . .I agree they are surely lucky. Right place, right time, great catch! I won't deny him that.

I personally would rather see a tight 2 throw triple play that barely gets the runners out. Those are awesome

I agree completely. The 5-4-3 triple play trumps the unassisted triple play any day of the week. The unassisted version seems to get all the attention though because they are so much more rare.

Yeah the unassisted if a product of the circumstances it is usually one amazing play then 2 lucky outs. The 5-4-3 is three amazing displays of athleticism by 3 people.
