Personally I don't like it, I am not a fan of the center shafted putters.

its probably going to be around $3,000 because that little red spot at the top is a real jewel.

I'm really liking the looks of this Scotty. I'm on the market for one and I had my eye on the 1.5, but now with this 2.6 model, I'm leaning toward it. At least before seeing it in person that is.

I really hope it's not more expensive than the other models. I can't see the extra sightline dot behind the shaft really upping the price that much

I thought the 'T' in a circle denotes it as being a tour model...and is therefore in the thousands of dollars range instead of the off the shelf $300-ish ones.

I like this putter. Not really a fan of the center shaft though. Must be a dream to hit.

They'll be shipped out Monday. $300

Then the one in the picture is definitely the pricey 'Tour' version.

I heard someone say you are basically just paying for bragging rights when you step up from a regular to Tour version!

Bragging rights and a hefty resale price. Circle T putters fetch a pretty penny, I have three TEI circle T's and they are valued in the range of 1200-1600 from what collectors have told me.

How about this one?

I think the look and the colours of the ad make it look like someone has fired a nail gun or something at it from close range. Quite industrial looking.

I like Scotty's for their clean lines.

I know I will catch endless hell for this, but I haven't found a Scotty that feels better than my PING Redwood Anser (and I

really wanted to like the Scotty better). Then I decided to look at the Circa 62 #1 . . . until I tried it side-by-side with the Redwood ZB (and I still really wanted to like the Scotty better.)

A Newport 2.6 and a Newport 2.7. But no 2.5. Grrrrr!

That is the Button Back, and it will be released in limited numbers, 2 styles of clubhead (forgot which styles) both will only have 2008 released. But they will cost you a pretty penny. But I want one!!!!

Unfortunately, it'll be much more pricier than regular version only because it has that little circled T logo.

Ahh, you're probably right about that. I didn't know what that mark meant. Surely though they'd offer a "non-tour" version? I called the local golf store and they said they'd be getting them in Oct. 1, so that makes me believe they will offer a non tour version? I can't see your average golf store selling to many extremely high priced putters like the tour version?

Read my post a few posts above yours, I explain what will be done with that putter, regarding to the public.

But that is a picture of a Circle T, and the reason those are so expensive is they were made custom for a pro, it could be Anthony Kim's, or some no name that you haven't ever heard of. Often times they have different stampings on them, different lengths, lofts, lie's, and often custom weighting for that tour player. The tour players aren't limited to what they get as are the public, and that combined with the fact it was used on tour make it expensive.

    • Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.
    • Day 228 4-4 More hip/chest turn and wrist arching. Working on hinging wrist a bit later. Foam balls.
    • Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.
    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
    • Day 550 - 2026-04-04 Practiced in the sim at a club for awhile. Did a SW ladder and practiced for awhile with my 7I.
