So in the past week I've had 2 revelations that I will see immediate improvement in my game from.

1) So I haven't been able to hit a solid drive since.. oh I started golfing. Some how it just clicked in me what my issue was. While I was getting a good full shoulder turn on my back swing I wasn't continuing my shoulder turn through my swing which was creating a very armsy swing. So I should be able to save literally 6 strokes a round by not spraying the ball into the woods/water etc...(yes I know I didn't have to hit driver off the tee but damn it i paid good money for the driver might as well use it! )

2) So I've really been struggling with the putter too. So just out of sheer frustration I started using a grip similar to Tigers except I actually still interlock my pinky and pointer fingers as I do on all my other clubs. Gives me much better control over the path of my club for some reason. This should shave another 3-6 shots per round.

So all that being said any one else have these sort of revelations lately? Maybe something will click for me.

Close my shoulder stance and leave the clubface open at address - promotes a nice draw on both driver and iron shots.

I had a revelation but it wasn't something I figured out for myself. It actually came from something I read on this forum. I'd been having a heck of a time making solid contact with my mid to short irons. Then I learned to deloft the club face at address, take a shorter backswing, accelerate through the ball and finish with my hands high. Suddenly, my short irons are my most reliable clubs. I'm really nailing it with my wedges now.
