compression and distance on golf balls

I am really trying to find the right ball too play. my swing speed is around 96 mph which seems to put me out of the range of using a prov1x or a tp black - as I seem to loose a little distance with those. The nxt tours seem to spin a little to much off the driver but if i use a ball with a lower compression like the burner tp or e-6 is the ball going to balloon and what happens if i crank a drive with those balls? does the lower compression actually hurt you?? i have been told i am on the cusp with my swing speed so not sure what to do - any suggestions would be great

I have a similar swing speed to you and I play the Burner TP ball. It works great for me. It spins on my wedges as much as I need, and it has great distance. I haven't noticed and ballooning with it and I haven't heard of that happening. I would recommend trying the burner tp and see if you like it.

My swing speed is a few MPH faster than you, about 102-103. I took the Bridgestone ball test and the suggestion was the E6+.

You also might want to look at the Titleist DT Carry.

Both of these balls may give you exactly what you're looking for.
