I played some IX tours the other day, my impressions were that it's great of the tee, maybe 10-15 yards longer at least than the prov's that I usually play.
They track a great line when putting, but don't hold as much spin as the prov's.
Also, it's been a while since i played them but I seem to remember the HX tours rolling a little better on the greens.
Any opinions?

The i Tour is being used by Phil and others but is still not out yet. That will be much closer to the ProV1, is the ix just like the ProV1x though?

I share your observations. I played Pro V1s for the last 2 years, but since switched to the Tour ix. A little more distance, good feel, and more durable than the v1 and v1x. I can't wait for the Tour i to come out, as these will be the direct competition for the pro v1.

Havn't hit the Ix or I yet, but have heard nothing but good things about them. There is obviously a lot of media hype but reviews so far suggest that these balls have lived up to this hype.

It seems like Callaway have finally launched a ball that can compete with Titleists Pro-V
