I'm up in the air on what irons to go with. I've been playing Callaway X-Tours and would like a little more control over my shots and more feedback when I strike the ball. I've been looking at the Titleist ZB, the Mizuno MP-57 and the Bridgestone J36 Combo set. I've read user comments about teh Titleists and the Mizuno's, but haven't read any user reviews for the Bridgestones. I've hit all three clubs off of a matt into a net, but haven't had a chanceto get out on the course with any yet.

Please let me know what you think of the J36's if you swing them. How forgiveable, yardage compared to other clubs, feel on mis-hits, etc...

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ive heard good things about them. Finding them to hit or trying to talk to customer servie to get a demo or a rep is painfull. At least around me.

I hit all three designs with project x 6.0 shafts durning a demo a few months ago and loved them. The thinnest toplines ive ever seen in a modern iron as well. Big time ball strikers club.

I was tempted to buy them but the price tag was too much when I found out a guy would give me a deal of 650 on a set of MP-57's. The MP-57's are great. They have just enough forgiveness, but they are so easy to work the ball with, and they go a ton lower than my previous clubs, Taylor Made RAC OS2.

I like them a lot so far and high irons and PW used to be my weakness - no it's my strength with the MP-57's. They have a better feel and I hit the higher irons straighter.
