Has Anyone used this ball mark tool?

Notice how the dumbass "repaired" the first mark. He knew damn good and well what he was doing and he destroyed that spot anyway. He could have repaired it correctly with a different tool and maybe showed how his was faster/easier/etc.

I've used these before...not this "exact" one, but they same type. I've got about a dozen of them from my local TPC course; they give them out to anyone who wants them. They do work fairly well...with some practice and getting used to it.

They're right about one thing...most amateurs don't know how to properly fix a ball mark. And on a lot of courses...some people don't even fix ball marks (which drives me absolutely nuts). It's nothing for me to fix 5 or 6 while waiting my turn to putt out.

I'm that guy in the group that will go to as many ball marks and fix them without holding the group up. it HURTS when I see an unrepaired ball mark or one that just has the ground all TORN up.

I suspect this is another example of something that plagues golf, A USELESS INVENTION!

If traditional ones are so bad there would be signs on courses saying "Please don't use traditional pitch mark repairers" much like there are clubs that request spikes aren't worn.

From the looks of it, a dessert fork would be more than ample at doing the same job!

It reminds me of those inventions like the "Bald Eagle Golf Ball" or the "Golf Ball Balancer", as far as i am concerned these make a TINY difference, and due to clever advertising when a ball does miss the hole by 1mm, it is because of the "dimple effect" or an unbalanced golf ball.

I used a zero friction tee, didn't make any noticeable difference, and how are you supposed to tell?

In my opinion, don't waste your money on this crap, buy a traditional one for next to nothing and learn to use it properly!
