I was looking at some irons today at the local golf shop, I am an intermediate player looking for some new iron as my old set was from a beginner set and looking to finally move up - I've already upgraded everything else to new equipment just looking for some used irons right now.

Obviously both sets were used and within $10 of each other, they had no major damage on them, grooves were still in good condition on both. Just a few minor scratches on some clubs but overall in good condition. Both sets were steel shafts, and I'd be getting them re-gripped for either set.

Which would you pick?

Mini, do you have a chance to try them out? Both sets of clubs are good, it mostly comes down to preference.

I tried them out briefly the other day, both clubs swung pretty good for me. I'll probably try them out more tomorrow before I decide, was just wondering though if one has a better record than the other though and which people tend to go for.

Yeah man, if you hit them both pretty well, then im sure down the road you will be happy with either one of them. Taylormade always has solid irons, so you cant go wrong there. On the other hand, King Cobra is nothing short of good equipment, and I think their stuff is somewhat underrated.
