How long is the neck? I am a big fan of the Newport 2 mid Slant - love that style is all. Is the neck round with a flat machined in there?

not sure the exact measurement but its a nice flow neck... the order is probably going in monday but obviously I'm waiting on a price qoute. I believe the neck is round what a machine flatened area

a custom C & L putter runs around 280 shipped, this could be more considering it will be copper plated

of course you'd have the same club as everyone and have zero personalization... I think its funny how scotty has the custom shop, they do a great restoring putters but other than that its a regrip/reshaft, headcover and paint fill job... how exactly is that custom besides a change in putter finish, other than the finish you can do everything else yourself

have no idea... just to know how much went into it, sort of a special project. these are pretty much handmade and proudly crafted here in the US from the finest materials. there are so many options when going through the process, balance... amount of toe hang, weight, lie, loft

That's a good enough reason. Because you want to. I like the way you think.

I am just getting into golf in any type of large way. Never knew of a SC until I looked around and realized what kind of work goes into making something like that. I come to the sport from a shooting background. I can look at a shotgun and tell you why it costs 16,000 and why it's worth that but I don't know enough about putter and club design to make all the right decisions on such a custom job as yours. Good luck - I am sure it will be great.
