Getting ready to order another pair of shoes...(yes I have a problem) and cannot seem to make up my mind. I have it narrowed down to 3. I have the same makes in other looks, so I know they are all comfortable. Give me some advice on which one of these you guys like? I truly am stuck and looking for input. I know they are all crazy and over the top.

1) White and Blue
2) Purple and White
3) Orange (Those really look like a womens shoe with the stripe)

Blue and white looks pretty cool. Not sure about the orange one, Dent has a good point, it looks like a woman's shoe.

I like the third one (with the blue). Probably because I have the first two makes in other colors and that one looks newer to me, but I like that look. Sporty, yet classy, all in the same shoe.

The one with the stripe is starting to get a bit old. I'm seeing them a lot more the past year or so, and the novelty is a little old now. Still a great shoe, I have it in brown with a dark brown stripe, and wear it a lot, but you see those shoes everywhere.

Somewhat the same with the Johnny Miller '73 style in purple. Again, a look that has been around forever, and with the Poulter commercial the exposure is out there. Do you want people calling you "Poulter" out there? I like that style, but black and white or the red white and blues (like Johnny wore), the new colors are a bit out there.

The blue and white one looks original, no reason not to buy those.

The blue ones are the most conservative (I guess?), so I've gotta go with those.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

I have been trying to find the red white and blue patent leather for days now. Out of stock in size 11 D everywhere.

Josh, if you really want to step it up, go with a sweet pair of Walter Genuin's like Miguel Angel Jiminez wears. The tweed with the saddle and the covered toe? They're great. They look the the Johnny Miller's, but with a little more Italian artistry and uniqueness to them. They run about the same as the Classics ($350'ish), but you don't see a lot of people wearing them.

Check out the products in the classic line (Products- Walter Genuin Golf Shoes- Mnner Schuhe- Classic Line) Those are smooth. The Getsby line is real nice, especially the ones with the tweed-style look. Sounds like you already have a few pairs of Classics, might as well mix it up a bit. The GETSBY's start around the 5th one in the scrolling products page, and they have like 10 different styles. Tweed, woven look, fine Italian craftsmanship.

I'm a shoe junkie like you, I have 4 pairs of classics, and I'm definitely hitting up a pair of these for my next $300+ shoe purchase.

Thanks, now I have more decisions.

So after careful deliberation, I went with the Blue and white ones, as well as a pair of red and white dryjoys.

A little too late. Got the blue ones. Thanks to everyone for their opinion. By buying the blue ones (they were only $150 on closeout) the better half let me get a pair of closeout dry joys (red) that were marked down to $80.

the white / orange pair are illmatic!

I'm partial to orange / red since I have a fascination with Sergio's gear and well, that could be something that would go red with a spanish theme.

are they really comfortable... I have a pair of Ecco World Class GTX (all white) and they arent very comfortable

    • To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
