I always played pro v1x. But last week I forgot my ball at home, so I had to buy some balls, adn I bought the callaway ix. I'm in love with these ball. They are very very durable and they are really nice to play with wedges and putters.
And I saved 1$.

I tired putting in a code a couple of times about a month ago but none went through. Somehow though I recieved two packages from Callaway yesterday, each with two sleeves. Haven't tried them out yet, but whether I love them or not, it's still a dozen free quality golf balls!

I just got mine yesterday as well, but I actually ended up getting a code right. Maybe I'll still get another package for some of the times I didn't get a working code *crosses fingers*

I never got a code right but I did recieve 2 sleeves today (the only day it has rained all day long in 2 months) but I will try them tomorrow. I bet they are just as easy to hit in any given hazard as my D2 feels. Did anyone else notice that 8-10 dimples are much deeper than the rest?

Even funnier if you used the same level of grammar as in this post, and your neighbor got them all.

Well, funnier for me anyway. ( Sorry about that. Sometimes I can't help myself. Feel free to fire right back. No hard feelings as long as it's funny.)

On its website, Titleist has a comparison of the Pro V1 vs the Pro V1x.

Does Callaway have a similar comparison chart somewhere for the Tour i / Tour ix?

I recall reading somewhere that one of the models had a more durable cover than the other. Can anyone remember which version is more durable and where the information came from?

Thanks.

Same happened to me Chief Broom. I spent about an hour at work one day typing in codes and never got a single one to work. Then a few days ago the lovely little package arrived on my doorstep. Go figure.

Got mine in the mail today just in time for my round. I didnt lose a ball today, and the TourIX held up pretty well for the round. I dont usually put too much spin on the ball, but the thing was definitely stopping on the greens for me. All in all, seems like a decent ball, however I dont think I am at a level where I need a ball like this. With that said, I am a man of superstition, and If I keep shooting well with these things I might keep buying them.

    • They sure do. 158 with an 8 iron is on the high end for me
    • Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.
    • Distances look fine, no?
    • Day 207-12 Wider backswing and arm reconnecting in downswing. Did a much better job with proper wrist movements through downswing today.
    • Trackman place today. I broke my tripod so could only film by hand the video the venue’s cameras generated. This is an 8 iron. Amazing how odd this feels relative to how it looks. Not similar!
