Chingali: Thanks, but I have looked there.

ctmurrray: How far is Plymouth and Roseville, since my mom is not going and I will have to get a ride from a team member's and don't want to make them drive too far.

Depending upon where you are coming from, these stores are located near the major freeways around the Twin Cities. The link I included is the golf galaxy page where you can click on a link which maps each store. Possibly the link did not make it through on my post. You can go to golfgalaxy.com web site and "find a store" link from the front page.

I was assuming that you would be driving to Blaine and would pass near either Plymouth or Roseville on the way to Blaine. Plymouth is due west of Minneapolis and Roseville is North of the Twin Cities, roughly between St. Paul and Minneapolis east-west wise. Both are probably 15 miles away from Blaine. As I said Blaine is quite far north of the Twin Cities. They are close to the freeways for an easy exit.

Go to

Austads . BTW, go on Thursday and get some free balls.

Blaine is fairly rural? Have you been there within the past five years?

ctmurrray: Thanks, and I will not be driving to Blaine, since I am going for a soccer tournament and will be flying in from Alaska.

BigAl5150: Thank you I will definitely check out Austad's

And finally a question to you both, do either locations let you try the clubs on the range?

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
