Hey guys i have gotten a great deal on a X-Tour 50* gap wedge. Problem is i already have one.. What i am thinking about doing is having it bent to 46* to replace my 46* PW. The 50* has 11* of bounce in it. My PW has 7* so in theory it would work out ok. My question is bending it 4* could this cause problems by changing anything else.... ie.. face angle???

Thanks

My worry would be durability. I looked it up and found that it is a forged club. With the softer metal I have heard that you could bend it to 4* or 5* without problems. If it were cast, though, you could only get to 2* of bend. I don't know about the face angle for sure, but if the bending didn't break the club, I think that you would be alright with it.

bending it 4º might be a bit of a stretch.

do you think i would be in danger of breaking it??? or do you think it could just throw off something else??? thanks

If it's forged I don't think bending it 4º should be a problem. I'm not sure if/how it will affect the playability of the wedge but as far as if it can be done, I'd say definitely.
