Okay, I know this is waaaayyyy off topic, but I just need to know if I'm losing it a little.

Came home today, turned on the TV, and had a little message that my DirecTV software/firmwear had been updated.

No problem, happens all the time.

But when my DVR started recording Gilmore Girls Terminator 2: Judgment Day, I noticed that the little LED recording light was a different color. It used to be a very light yellow/orange, and now its a dark orange/red.

WTF?!?!? Am I TiVollucinating?

It's possible. LED's can change color . I haven't heard of them changing after a firmware upgrade but hey, there's a first for everything

It's possible. LED's can change color

I can't directly answer your question, but when I did some work for a company who made equipment for streaming video, we sometimes changed LED colours in different versions of firmware. Sometimes because we wanted to indicate a different function, and sometimes just because you can instantly look at the device and know what firmware version it's running.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit taking LSD.

I love Airplane. That was a funny movie

And Surefire answered the changing LED colors question.

    • Day 4 (13 Mar 25) - Easy session today, some work with the 6&7 irons - full swings into the net, followed but bump and runs.  Toss in some pitch work with the Pw with the grandson.
    • Day 34: 3/13/25 Putting through 50 mm gates. Almost a perfect session.
    • Hands go out and roll too much, which is why the backswing has trouble staying short. The short swing is too long. Then, you know what to do from there. Throw it.
    • Day 2 March 13th, 2025 Hit a small bucket checking stuff on video. Mostly back to controlling swing length and right elbow.
    • Video 1 of 2025 Lower body is better. Right knee kicks out less. Left knee straightens better. I don’t have that knee bounce post impact. Backswing and downswing with the arms, needs a bit of work. Nice OTT move there. Video 2 of 2025 - hey I can keep it short.  back to trying to keep the swing shorter and control the right elbow. Lots of half backswing feel and very straight arms. Also trying to start the downswing sooner so the swing doesn’t go on forever with the turn. Got to limit it to 90 degrees shoulder and 45 degrees hips.
