Anybody listen to the Open on XM?? Fantastic coverage!

Anybody else listen to the coverage of the British on XM radio? I never realized how horrible the normal PGA Tour coverage was!! I find myself spacing out and only half listening to the team that does normal tour stops.

The group of guys doing the British Open is great. It was more like a day-long golf talk show with constant and current updates of what was going on at the course.

It got me through Thursday and Friday at work!

Maybe I'm not a true golf fan for this but I doubt I could ever listen to a golf tournament. I need to have that visual or else I'll fall asleep. Were you watching it with the TV muted or something like that?

I listened to the replay show on thursday and friday which I think is done by the same guys that broadcast. great show. I am going to listen tomorrow instead of watch because ESPN/ABC blows horribly. Worst golf coverage EVER!!

The XM coverage of the Open has been superb.

Seriously, yes, I prefer listening to this to the televised coverage in America.

I was lucky enough to be at the Open and the best money I spent all week was on one of the radios to take around the course. It was great to hear the clever British humour and look around and see all the other people with radios smiling or laughing. It was also a great way to follow the happenings around the course while still following the people you wanted to see every shot of. The best of both worlds!
