So I ran into 200 dollars for my birthday, and sold two old autographed wrestling Items for 850 bucks, So I want to buy new irons and wedges, because I dislike the graphite shaft and the entire club I have.

Obviously, price is not an issue for me. I just got a Taylormade 360 Ti Driver, and I want new Woods also, and possibly a putter (mine's just old, it doesn't need to be replaced.)

So what would you guys advise? Anythings better the Acuity....

In My NEW Bag:
Driver: 360 Ti
Woods, Hybrids, Wedges & Irons: Acuity Hiper Max
Big Bertha 7 Wood
Putter - P52 Chipping Putter: Flag AttackShoes: FootJoyBall: NXT Tour, D2Glove: Warbird 2

Go get fitted and see what you like. Don't get caught in brand hype. Put as much of that $ in lessons or practice as possible.

I really really like my Wilson Ci7 irons.

I know the Wilson name doesn't get much attention in the golf world but I've tried a lot of irons either through friends or in store. I can say if you're a mid handicapper and want solid control and feedback, these are awesome. I played an old Hogan set before these that were good to learn with but very unforgiving and outdated.

But if you get a chance, go swing the clubs, check on reviews online and remember, it's not always the club :)
As for the Ci7's I got them cheap, $330 brand new with the steel shafts and I couldn't be happier.

If you're a low handicapper, I suggest you to get you some ap2s or 695mb. They have excellent feel and a nice workability.

If you're a high to mid handicapper, x20s all the way

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
