Yes putter comments needed....

Looking at adding another putter to the stable.

I generally prefer heavier mallet styles...they just seem to help me get better aligned (my main trouble when putting).

I really like my 2-ball and generally have good results with it however I would like to improve upon it if possible.

The Yes putters seem like well made clubs.

The Tiffany and the Victoria II are the models that have my eye right now.

I'd like to hear some results of how how your Yes putters have worked for you.

Example: putter switch from and yes model you went with

tendencies you had with the old model vs. current tendancies


etc.

off topic but TGW has odyssey two ball SRT models for 99.99... its worth a look and would certaintly be an improvement over your existing two ball

I would love to tell you they break ground with their technology….but that would not be true. As with any putter it boils down to confidence (IMHO). I've been using my Yes! Putter for a little over a year, and I bought the thing because I felt confident standing over it. Did it out perform the others I tested? No, but it looks great and the craftsmanship is top notch.

I switched to my Yes! Emma from my old and trusty Ping Zing. I guess the sight alignment stands out most on the version I have.

The Tiffany is amazing, I have it. Its got a great alignment aid that makes you put the ball dead centre, as you know its got those 3 arc lines on the top of it. Those help you a huge ammount to put the ball right in there.

I noticed all Yes Putters have a different feel to them, and all have a different "click" when you hit the C-Grooves when your putting. I know the Tiffany and the Tracy feel a Tad Different, the Tracy feeling better, but the tiffany is still amazing and gives true roll.

Not to mention the black finish and the hollow shape is just good looking.

I just found a YES! Sophia blade putter in my garage. Not sure how old it is, I'm thinking maybe 3 or 4 years old...it still is in great shape, I'll let you know how I like it.

I switched from an Odyssey Dual Force Rossie about a year and a hlaf ago to the Sophia model. The feel is incredible and a love how heavy the head is.

Well, it was actually my sister's, who she got from her boyfriend, who was a real good player himself, a +1 handicap...he used it for a bit, but he's was a horrible putter (at least for his ballstriking level) so he switched every two weeks to something new, lol. So, now, my sister broke up with him, and she plays maybe 5 times a year, probably more in the 2-3 range, so I'm not sure why she has a good putter in her bag...lol. I'm going to have to give it a try. A few weeks ago I got a 30 dollar putter, the Tour Edge Backdraft. I putted great with it for two weeks...usually always under 30 putts a round. Now, the past 36-45 holes with it, I've been terrible. So I switched to the Oddessey two ball (I know, I have about 4 pretty expensive putters in my garage, lol...), and I'm even WORSE with it. I practiced on the putting green for 30 minutes, and then went and played 9 holes with it today...I was awful. I couldn't even keep score, I was three putting like crazy...and I played 18 with it the other day, and I thought I just needed time to get used to it, but god, that was one of the worst putters I've ever felt in my life, honestly. The Two-Ball, idk how guys putts with that, seriously. There is no alignment feature so I never feel like I'm getting the ball startered correctly, and then I forget about my speed. lol.

I understand what you mean. With a 2 ball you line your ball up with the 2 other balls in the direction you want.

Now if you were to say that it isn't the traditional alignment aid you are used to i would understand

I've used six different putters since January 2005, playing each putter for 50 consecutive rounds except the Yes! Callie - I've played only 42 so far with that one.

IMO, the results are inconclusive and my opinion is that it doesn't really matter which putter I use, especially since my best was with the Yes! Natalie and the next to worst was also with the Yes! Natalie: Anyhow, FWIW -- (and I apologize if my MS Word document doesn't show up here!)

By looking at that Doc. looks like the Callie is going to be the best one for you.

I have tried the Nike Oz T130, Guerin Rife 2 Bar blade and mallet, and Yes Marilyn.

I like the Yes Marilyn of all of the mallets. It has a muted feel which too some getting used to. However, I have pretty good distance control and alignment with it.

I briefly tried a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 but I just had better control with my Yes! Maybe I will look into a Yes! Callie to see if there is some feedback with it in my hands (although I don't tend to perceive weight of different clubs for some reason).

I have Yes! Olivia which I like a lot. It has interchangeable weights, which actually I don't use. I just use the normal weights, but it is heavy and a mallet. When I was buying a putter my choice was between a 2-ball and the Olivia and I just liked it better, a better feel for me.

Well I just got back from trying the YES! Sophia...very impressed. It truely DOES seem to roll the ball smoother, especially on lag putts. I was happy with it for 30 minutes on the practice green. I'm going to go play 18 holes tomorrow, so I'll keep track of how many putts I have tomorrow.

I stopped off at Bonaventure Golf in Augusta today around noon.

They had a few Yes putters in stock. I tried the Tiffany and the Valerie for a few minutes. Their putting "green" is very limited in space.

It was evident fairly quickly that the Tiffany was the easiest for me to align...even moreso than with my 2-ball. It felt a bit lighter than the Valerie but seemed to edge it out overall.

One of the local courses stocks these putters and I'm going to go later in the week and demo some on their large practice green and really get a feel for them.

I like the 34" shaft the best. The stock grip isn't bad at all, however I've grown to love the oversize replacement Winn Odyssey grip on my 2-ball.

Looks like a great deal. The 2 balls in all their different forms are super. I wonder how much different this one would be than mine. $99 isn't a bad deal at all.
