Cleveland Launcher

I was at Golf Galaxy and saw a used Launcher with a V2 shaft for 69.00. I remember when they came out, but never hit one. I swung it a couple times at the store and it felt good. I was wondering if anyone here has hit one, what they thought about it, and if this is a good deal.

I have the Launcher COMP 3 wood...not sure what the COMP means but I really hit it very well.. Very straight, easy to hit, forgiving .I'm sure the driver is as well.

I had a low handicap friend who used to use the Cleveland Launcher. I tried it and it was awesome! I wanted to get one, but couldn't afford it at the time. I went with the driver that I have in my bag now, which I got used for a good deal. I really liked the launcher though. It isn't the most forgiving club, but there is enough forgiveness to it. I found it was pretty easy to work the ball without slicing or hooking it. For that price, I would definitely pick one up. Even if you don't like it you could sell it and you haven't lost that much.

a v2 alone costs 65.. so your paying 5 bucks for a damn fine head.

Bought a Launcher Comp. on closeout last summer( caught last driver my trunk hinge, very embarassing). I tried all of the latest, but hit this one the best, real world on the course. I found it easier to work than square, highest moi crowd and it rolled out better for me, not quite as for giving, but contact anywhere reasonable has good result.

I had my launcher for about 3 1/2 years before i bought my hibore this year. One of the best drivers i've had during the time I've played.
