Hey guys, I just bought a set of Mizuno MP-32's off of a guy the other day for 125 bucks (impossible to pass up) and really like them. However he played a few hybrids so the set is only 5-PW. I want to pick up a 3 and a 4 iron because I prefer long irons to hybrids myself. I really liked the Mizuno's and for sure want the same for my irons, but didn't know which model to go with. I would get the 32's and have the complete set but heard they are really hard to hit at 3 and 4 iron length. I also looked at some MP-57's and MP-60's. For the past few years I have had Nike pro-combos so I am used to the different shapes of different length clubs and do rather well with that. Any suggestions/experiences/reviews would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, also they have rifle shafts and I would like to maintain rifle shafts in the 3 and 4.

go to www.ironfinder.com and you can pick up some irons of all specs.

If you want to keep the mizuno line i'd go with the 57's, the 60's are also hard to hit in the low irons.

I got rid of my hybrids when I bought the MP-57 irons. I just love hitting a 3 iron again. It is such a boost of confidence for me to be able to aim at the green from 200 yards out. I only wish that the 57's offered a 2 iron, I might just drop the 3 wood.

So I guess the consensus is that the MP-32's and MP-60's are both pretty hard to hit as they get into 3 and 4 irons. Do they all go similar distances too, or does the MP-57 usually go farther due to its design?

For neater look, get MP-60. To me, MP-60 is similar to MP-32, but only with clothes. Otherwise pick MP-57.

Why not go for thei MP FLI-HI Hybrid Irons (not the CLK) they're cut muscle types and still look like irons but easier to use. Try demoing one to see for yourself.

I have a different opinion on the 3 and 4 iron.

I love the 3 and 4 for the MP-32's. I have them and I can hit them better than any other 3 and 4 iron. I have been using the 3 iron off the tee because the course I play is much shorter and I blister it all the time. I do not think that the 3 and 4 are hard to hit at all.

Just an opinion though.

I agree with the Clemson Tiger... I have the 67s and love the 3 and 4 iron and don't find them all that hard to hit. my ball striker isn't great, it's getting better though. but i guess you COULD go with the mp60 or 57s on that. I like having a uniform set of irons though... it's all preference. go hit them... try them out and see...

I play the MP-32's as well and I love the longer irons. I prefer them over my hybrids actually!
