Draw/fade with a low quality ball vs. high quality ball

Hey all, wasn't sure if this question was asked and doing a search yields way too many results so here goes.

For some reason, I seem to be able to shape my shots better with a lower quality ball (pinnacle, top flite, nike juice, titleist dts, etc)...but when I use a Pro V, etc it just goes dead straight on its initial line. Makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE to me.

Can we assume this is on your driver, or is this with all your clubs?

Mostly driver, wood, and hybrid yes.
