michael phelps is the greatest athlete in the history of the human race (approx 200,000 years ago in africa according to science or 5,000 years ago according to fundamentalist christians). golf is often characterized as being a bit thin with athletic talent and so what if the greatest athlete ever was to take up the game, how soon until he won the grand slam?

i'm guessing with the same long hours of dedication he spends in the pool, in a year, he would be winning his first pga tournament, two years he would win his first major and in 3 or 4 years he would would win the grand slam.

what would give phelps a big advantage over other players is while most golfers have to take a penalty strokes when they end up in the water, with michael phelps superhuman abilities in the h2o, he would be hitting shots out of lakes, ponds, oceans, etc.

They will beat their swords into golf clubs and their spears into putters. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Old Tom Morris 2:4

Wow... and I've been told I make dumb topics... (no offense to you ganjagolfer)

Things I Am Good at in Golf

- Hitting it in the drink
- Finding the rough with my drive
- Staying in the bunker- Hitting grassburners all the way to the hole- Three putting- Posting over par on 18 in only 9 holes- Swinging and missing with an iron
